Plano Optics
Prisms India manufactures a wide range of Flat Optics
namely Prisms, Windows, Wedge Plates, Front Surface Mirrors and many more as
per clients blue prints. Few types of Flat Optics are listed below. Please
forward complete specifications (Dimensional Tolerance, Angle Tolerances,
Material, Cosmetic Defect limits, Surface Flatness, etc) while sending us
enquiries along with quantities required. We manufacture quantities from
proto type (1 or 2 pcs) to volume production of 4000 parts per month.
Right angle prism is a most
commonly used prism. It has two 45° and one 90° angles. The normal
use for a right angle prism is to turn light through 90° by reflection
from the hypotenuse. These are also called Porro prisms for specific
applications.
The Penta Prism deviates
the light by 90 degrees. Irrespective of the orientation of the prism the
input beam and the output beam is always at 90 degrees. Commonly used in
surveying Instruments for 90 degrees alignment setting and in Machine tool
Industry for squareness measurement.
Dispersing prisms have a
very simple cross section, an equilateral triangle. Dispersion prisms are
commonly used for wavelength separations i.e. creating the rainbow effect.
Depending on the material used, equilateral dispersion prisms can be used
over a wide range of wavelengths. Commonly used in Educational Institutions
for Spectrometer experiments.
Standard size Mirrors are
available for Holography Experiments. Many are also supplied to Original
equipment manufacturers of Microscopes and other Optical Instruments.
Mostly used in Telescope
and are commonly called as diagonals.
Being the leaders in the
industry, we present Optical Window of fine quality. These windows are used
for isolating different physical environments while allowing light to pass
through it.
Optical Flat is used as a
reference surface for the detection of inaccuracies of unknown flat surfaces
that are polished.
Optical Parallels are used
for checking Flatness and Parallelism of Micrometer measuring faces.
